EAUH2020 & COVID-19
The 15th International Conference on Urban History, which will take place in Antwerp from 2 to 5 September 2020.

Europe and the world are now under intense pressure from the COVID-19 pandemic. Conferences catering for large audiences in the near future, such as recently ESSHC in Leiden, are either cancelled or postponed. For EAUH 2020 taking place in Antwerp only in September, it is for the moment too early to tell. The local and international organization committees are monitoring developments regularly and they will decide, depending on the circumstances and previsions at the latest in the beginning of May.
Because we want all conference delegates to be able register in all tranquility and in well-informed conditions, we have decided that the early-bird registration period will be prolonged from 15 May to 1 July 2020. We also want to stress that in the unlikely event of a postponement or cancellation in May of the September conference because of the pandemic, all fees paid by delegates before the decision to cancel or postpone, will be returned fully. For the moment, we are confident that the conference will take place as scheduled and we are looking forward to seeing you all at the Conference in Antwerp.
