Abstract: The Grand Projet – Understanding the Making and Impact of Urban Megaprojects symposium will present preliminary findings from the case studies and a comparative investigation of urban megaprojects. These findings will be brought in dialogue with experts from the field of planning, project development, and project management.
The first part of this event will take place in Zurich as part of ‘Unpacking the City, Rolling Out Urbanity‘, a symposium in honor of Prof. Kees Christiaanse, who will be retiring from ETH Zurich in 2018. The second part will be held in Singapore as part of the Future Cities Laboratory‘s Midterm Review and the World City Summit 2018.
